I got the bushing set from pivot works and started quickly trying to take out the old bearing. Noticed there was a retaining ring holding it in place. Anyone have any tips or tricks on how to get these out? It's not a snap ring. The shock is a stock banshee but I'm pretty sure it's the same setup as the warrior. Thanks.

Figured it out!! For anyone with interest....

The snap rings can be removed with an awl/pick. I used a Pittsburg set I got at harbor freight for $.99 and it worked perfect. You have to use a hammer and hit the ring at a downward angle and the ring separated. I only had to remove one side on each bushing. One on top and one on bottom.

Then I used a matching size socket and pressed it out using my vice. Took less than 1/2 hr total.
