I have a 04 warrior with stage 2 hot cams kibble white stainless valves and kibble white racing springs. Stock bottom end. 45 pilot jet and 165 main. Took it out for 25 miles and noticed it was starting to backfire and when I would shut it off it was getting harder to restart. Having to use the choke to get it restarted and removing the choke as I was riding. It finally got to a point when I in chocked it for the last time I noticed a huge rip in the intake boot. This is the second one I have gone through. Thought the first one was just old. Now with the second one ripped I'm thinking I have a problem somewhere

Check all the engine mounts.
Are you running an air box? If no the air box supports the carb and you need to supoort it to prevent ripping.
Was it a cheapie eBay boot? They suck, you have to go OEM for them to last.
