I just went to a 147.5 from a 145 main. With a hmf series 1and a uni stage 2 air filter. 1.5 turns out on the af screw. The issue im having is it seems to idle fine, then rev up, then idle fine. No bogging out or wot or midrange issues. No air leaks, timings on, and fresh 93 octane that's fresh. Any ideas
 
Generally idle "hunting" as I call it is either valve timing or an air leak. I'd go back and recheck those things just to be sure.
 
No air leaks. I did however buy a gsxr 750 4 pack of filters and the carbs a slightly off but the bore size is the same. So I used that and my timing is on. Chain is a tiny bit loose but it shouldn't effect it. Intake boot is new and no cracks. Sprayed carb and choke also wd40. No change.
