:atv::tup: My first atv rebuild!!! And it was only possible thanks to this great worldwide communitie!
Thanks to you all!!!!!!
To sum it up:
83.5 mm wiseco 10.25:1 piston
stg1 hotcam
pro-x timing chain
vitos
head casting cleaned
valves laped
new valve adjuster screw( mine was broken and pitted the top of the valve)
new cam bearing( not oem, but is an Industrial grade 6005 FAG bearing 15000 revs:eek:)
new caltric stator and pickup

I only run the motor on idle about 30sec for 2x to check for big leaks and head oil pressure. it all fine!

the breakin oil is a supermarket brand 15w40 mineral oil (very cheap)
Any tips about breaking in ive read alot and im a bit confused...
how do you guys do it?

I cruse around for 30 min, shut it down let it cool, then ride the **** out of it and I'm done. People do it different but the thought of getting rough on a new motor to break it in doesn't set well in my mind

been reading about motoman way and it makes sense but kinf of scary...

I like to get several hours on a rebuild before I start to hammer it. I usually do atleast 5 hours. Multiple heat cycles, vary the throttle pressure and engine speed, change the oil...
