The slide does seem to have alot of play in it. I didnt have anything to compare it to, Im going to get a rebuild kit for the carb I bought. ill compare it then.
like jasonp said 2 or three times its the pilot jet/ screw. i bet if you turn it 2.3-3 turns out it fixes it. if not theres probably some corruption in a passage of the carb... when it is really cold out mine will do this and i give it a 1/4 turn and it stops
