i got a 350 raptor and im trying to find out if the clutch needs to be replaced. when i release it, it only starts to grab at about a half inch before its completely released. also second gear is kinda hard to find. it has the stock shifter set up too.

Can ya move the pushrod any by hand? Cable may be rusted up or stretched and need adjusted.

How I check it, cruisin in 3rd, pull the clutch, floor it till its screamin, and dump the clutch, and keep it pinned. The engine speed should snap back to cruising RPMs. If it doesn't lock down very fast or just kinda hangs in the higher RPMs, its goin out. If your tires are bald, it may be hard to tell.
