How do I adjust my chain?

Hey guys stupid question but how do I adjust my chain on my 2000 yamaha 350 warrior?

Grab a 14mm and 17mm. Loosen the two bolts on carrier then, adjust using then two 10mm bolts sticking out the back of the carrier.

If the two adjuster bolts are all the way in can I lose a link? I was told chain was new when I bought the bike. Only been on a few rides

depends, but i wouldnt take the chance unless you have a case saver. dont always trust who ya buy from!

If the chain looks new, adjust it like mentioned earlier and cut links. I had to cut links out of my chain after it stretched from the first ride. No issue's now

Count the links. Should be 98
