well i just had my warrior rebuilt, ate a rod bearing up not long ago... had it rebuilt to stock size, i have a K&N filter with modded box, white bros slip on, stock header, and i just replaced the carb boot... heres my issue... i get alot of hesitation when going through the mid to high range... spits and sputters real bad... the dealer i had it rebuilt at says not to mess with the jets( its pissing me off) by the way had to take it back to them 7 different times because it was leaking oil.... and the mechanic who did the job forgot to tighten the valve cap and diddnt even put the bolt back on the engine stays... WTF,, anyway whats your ideas about this hesitation... im gonna clean the air filter and oil it up tomorow and check the valve adjustments...

and on a side note mine shoots blue flames like the other posts say but only when i rev it pretty high normal?

Your runnin wayyy lean. U need a bigger main jet like a 150 and possibly play with the needle position. Most dealers are full of ****.

no smoke at all... ill check the plug tom and see how it looks, its brand new only got about an hour on it... and im fed up with my dealer... time to find a new one

a stumble in 3/4 to WOT is 9 times outta 10 rich on main jet as for your blue flame i dont know but it might just be form unburned fuel in exhaust

well i got a recharge kit and redone the k&n and put a little sea foam in the fuel and it cleared it up and its running perfect now.. i still wanna jet though

will do i gotta adjust the valves on it thursday and ill check it then... off the top of your head do you know the specs? ive seen .06-intake .10 exhaust or .06-intake and .16-exhaust... but i cant seem to locate the ones i need... its an '01 warrior by the way

Ahhh dude, I should know, roughly 4 & 6 I think man but don't quote me. If you search it you'll find it & we have a valve adjustment thread, I'm certain it's in there, it's a sticky here somewhere. I jump around so much I don't remember what's where, lol!

lol i tried to search it but kept coming to a dead end... ill find it eventually.. side note i rode this weekend and hit a nasty ramp... could have cleared two trucks easy ima try to get a vid of it this weekend and get it on here

i just found it lol, and thanks bones... i just got it back from the dealer after being rebuilt and the valves are chattering... i have automotive experience but never really worked on a atv... but its time i start.. i could have done a better job than them even being my first atv rebuild...
