I did sumthin stupid, i have an 03 warrior, and i thought it would be cool to grind down the finsh on my pegs to kind of get a polished look, and it didnt look bad for a while but now the pegs are starting to rust and i want to repaint them. what kind of paint do i need, and what will be my process for repainting(sanding ect.)?

sand any rust with a fine grit paper...pick a METAL paint and paint away....iut is opional to use a clearcoat for extra protection and a little extra gloss

Have them sandblasted, a couple coats of metal primer and a couple more coats of paint.

Rustoleum might not be bad either.

Spray paint that has rust inhibitors (sp?)

I would suggest spray on bedliner, i used it on my pegs and the only part wore down is the very tops where the teeth are.

can u buy the liner at like walmart, or would i have to go to a body shop?
