help on snakes

hey i went riding last week and i ran across a snake that i can not find on the bet i made a pic of what it looked like can anyone help me on this one

lol it could posible be just that lol idk ive looked all over the internet and could not find anything on it at all i no its real cause i saw it sliding across the trail and in to the grass and i ran over it and it struct my boot so thats how i no its was a real snake

Wrong section, But aside from that, Aside from the spots you made, it's either a Northern Black Racer, or what I more strongly think it is, a Black Rat Snake.

hmmm...............if it ran across my boot it would be a dead snake. I hate snakes.
But Im with Bill on this one, Id sa its a Black Rat snake.
