Hanging idle

I have checked the threads and nothing seems to fix my problem I took notice the past poker run my idle would hang up now let me first say the warrior runs great no motor problems at all the one thing is when we would come to a check point or a slow part of the trail the idle would get high not racing high but enough that I would have to turn the ldle screw down this has happened several times any ideas

What is done to it, and what is your jetting ?

Pro design air filter 147 main don't remember the other other than that stock like I said motor runs great

Either an air leak or valve timing. Always cause a hunting idle.

I will check it out good place to start but what is confusing me is it will go back to normal after a twist of the knob and be fine

Check the carb boot for cracks too

Check the O-Rings also on BOTH sides of the intake manifold. Mine did the same thing, turns out the cylinder side o-ring was broken causing an air leak.
