What girl doesn't like foreigner, or journey, for that matter? I can't stand either of them. I can listen to nearly all old rock, don't like deep purple though. Hendrix does nothing for me. Eric Clapton is the best guitarist ever, imo.

i said foreigner? and journey is alright. IMO petter frampton is the best guitarist ever
 
I'd have to say Eddie Van Halen is the best or at least was the best guitarist ever
 
I like some of Frampton, but Clapton is in a luege all his own. He makes it look effortless, and doesn't have to "pick" at strings to make a guitar whal. Dude is badass. Really liked watchin him on the Sandy Relief Concert. Dad has seen him twice, and said he just mesmurises you with his playing...

was just listening to some Clapton, love cocaine. I think Steve Gains is one of the best, all the Skynyrd guys were good but when Gaines came along he just blew them away. Also how can you guys forget Duane allman

I agree with Pat,, Clapton is the **** got miny of his cds my favorite is the Journey man cd has most of his best songs on it!!!
 
I get goosebumps when I hear SRV just friggen sings with that thing. Frampton was great too
