Front master cylinder brakes

I noticed this weekend my front master cylinder on my handlebars was jerry rigged on with two of the wrong bolts. when i went to adjust it it completely was stripped out entirely on the inside:argh:. Does anyone know if a 03 master cylinder assembly would work with the 95 system? I cant imagine the braking system changed much over the years.

Yeah it will work there were no changes to the Resivors or lines from 87-04 except the front calipers in 87-88 models
