exhaust question

how does the exhaust header and the muffler stay together?is it some kinda clamp

My header is 2 piece slip fit, and my DG pipe clamps to the header

The header is bolted to the engine, then, there is a clamp, which holds the can/muffler/pipe to the header, then there are two bolts that mount to the frame for the pipe.

Yeah me too. Just sometimes you mess up. I'd hate to see that nice end cap get ripped off just sayin.
