Well I don't know what to say... Yes the starter was bad. But the ol girl still wouldn't start. I had fuel and spark. Hmmm. Compression? I took the plug out and stuck my finger over the hole. There was virtually nothing. My buddy has a fiber optic camera. Guess what. One of the valves broke off and put a hole in the piston! Wow. So I got a used top end of eBay. Yup im that guy. My buddy helped me put it on. Or basically did it lol. Runs great now! My warrior is a 97 but the top end is an '89 now! In nice shape I guess. I/we put a top end gasket kit on it it runs out alright. The top end was complete with piston for $175. Any comments?

Oh yeah... So it only starts if I cross the solinoid posts... Fuse is good though. Maybe a ground problem somewhere? And thanks again for the starter link! Can't beat the price especially with the warranty!

Sounds like your solenoid needs replacing.
If the fuses on the solenoid are good then yes just replace the solenoid.
