For all those out there with the JE 366 what compression readings do you have. Mine is a 10.5:1 ratio. I don't remember what it was when i first rebuilt the motor and its way down on power lately so im gonna start checking things out this weekend to see whats going on. Im really hoping there is plenty of compression cause the motors only 2yrs old and i really dont want to be rebuilding it.

Compression test. Check valve lash, stuff like that. Cylinders are reasonable on ebay, you have the piston & as long as the pin area isn't worn you could reuse it with another bored cylinder. Heck, maybe if you're luck it just needs a fresh set of rings. Either way if you've ran it much in 2 yrs time, it hasn't done bad.
