I purchased the Hauck clutch kit made for my 06 450 wolverine in hopes of one thing- having it go down hills slower, which it did. The problem is, descending really large hills is still a real pain in the ass, as the wolverine starts to gain speed on most steep hills. It went from going 20+MPH on steep downhills to about 10-15MPH, which is still way too fast if you have to make a quick turn or avoid a tree half way down, and the rear brakes are just a POS no matter what is done with them. Has anyone come up with anything to keep it from freewheeling down hills so fast? It seems like my hubbys outlander can crawl down hills that I'm speeding down at 15 or more MPH with the brakes on. What will the hauck sheave do for me? Thanks!
