clam on intake or drop in?

Well tomorow I'm dropping the big 500 on a full curtis sparks exhaust and wana get a k&n but not sure if I wana just get the drop in or the clamp on. I've never really had any issues with dirt getting past the stocker but I guess what I'm wanting to know is will the clamp on actually flow better than a drop in or does it just do a better job at keeping dirt out?

Well if you take off the lid it will get better flow and yes it does a better job of keeping dirt out w/ or w/o the lid becuase its sealed and there is no gap between it and the box.
