my first cylinder

After two races on this clynder bored by FTZ in CAPE, MO

And heres the piston after two races

And then after three people miced thecylinder and piston and came up with the same measurements as my tolerence being 400ths instead of 4,000.
 
looks like ti me a little lack of lube befor u ut it back to gather muks sure u putt an oil pump plus check all clerances for piston and rings **** expands about a 1-2 thousands under heat thats what i was told by a guy who does motors at the track. pretty bad hope u get it back to gather soon. :cool:
 
oh yea that was the ftz engine its been fixed sinece that and it runs like a scallded ass dog now
 
How did u get a 13:1 piston? Did u just order it frome wiseco, and how much extra was it?
 
what u do is find a engine that has the same stroke as yours and them bore to fit bu with mine we hade to do work to the top of the piston to clear my valves im really not sure what its made for my sponsor built my engine i know one thing its a bitch to start when its cold though ive ran a battery dead trying to start the son of a bitch i wouldnt recomended it unless your gonna go completley through the engine a couple of time cause its a bitch to get lined out but when u do it screams oh if u do get over like 12:1 on these engines be smart and go ahead and stud the head if not you will have problems
