Caruretor help

Hi, I just had my 2001 Wolverine 350 rebuilt.. I'm putting it back together and I can't figure out where the fuel line goes that comes directly from the bottom of the carburetor.. the end of the hose is stretched a little, it looks like something plugs into it. Any help would be appreciated!

That may be the overflow line on the float bowl. If it is, it just dangles and isn't connected to anything. Is it clear at the end?
