carb issue after carb issue...

I've read a couple forums on these but i still don't fully understand. I'm working on a 01 warrior it sat over winter with gas in it ( parents fault I didn't store it ) and i pulled the carb out looked like someone dropped dirt in it and wiped all around so i put a carb rebuild kit it and completely cleaned everything out. But when I put it back on I still had a dead spot and still felt about 50% its reving out to fast with half the power

did you take the jets out and blow through them with shop air? and make sure all channels throughout the carb are not clogged.

No when I got into it i didn't have the right tools with me to pull the jets
