Recently picked up an 01 Warrior that the PO had done some fancy engineering to fix a 3/8ths hole in the float bowl. Probably epoxy but it looked like bubble gum and a piece of inner tube on the inside of the bowl that had gotten dry and crumbly over time and held the float wide open for quite a while causing an overflow every time you turned on the gas (yeah I have a major carb flush job ahead of me).:loco:

Anyway, I patched up the hole with a good epoxy but would really like to find a complete float bowl in good order and replace it. From what I've been able to find Yamaha only sells it as part of a complete carb body for nearly $300. Anybody got one laying around? If not, I may just pick up a complete spare carb on ebay.

Check fleebay and your local craigslist for part outs. Stock carb are notoriously known to be a PITA but yet, their still pricey and rare in the scheme of things as far as spare warrior parts goes. I'll keep my eye open for yah though.

I have a complete carb for parts only (has stuck jet).... PM if your interested, worked when removed from quad...
