Car oil for a quick flush?

You guys think it would hurt? I destroyed my cam and im finishing putting it all back together today. Im draining the oil in there dont even wanna run it at all with it. I want to do a quick flush after I get it all back together incase dirt is around or metal from the cam bearing. Would a cheap engine oil be ok to let it come up to temp and drain back out? I have all oem yamaha oil and filter but dont want to waste it for a few mins.

Just run rotella. Its $13 a gallon
