Bypass forward/reverse electrical wires.

How can i bypass the electrical for the reverse? Im swapping the wire harness off my 87 to a 99 harness and the 99 has a green wire that goes to the forward/reverse lever and on the lever is some electrical stuff. I already know about the parking brake and clutch wires to bypass on the perch but im wondering about the actual forward/reverse lever.

the wiring harness on my first gen parts bike has the green wire that goes to the reverse lever, why do you want to bypass it?

Just don't plug it in. That bypasses it.

I want to bypass it cause my 87 doesnt have the electrical crap on the forward/reverse lever and i dont want to swap levers and have more electrical stuff than i need. I race my quad almost every weekend so its not a trail bike anymore.

Just don't plug it in. That bypasses it.
