I just recently replaced all the gaskets and what not in my engin and it fixed the smoke the was comming from my exhaust.... but it is back and the engin still have lots of compression and what not, i was wondering if the exhaust may just be worn out?

I am not completely certain on that one, might be best asking around some other forums in the technical sections or taking it to a qualified mechanic

Where is it smoking from? The header that go's into the block? you could have a weak seal between the header and the block. When you replace or remove the exhaust you should replace the gasket between them. And once replaced it, it should be run up to temperature and then tighten the header bolts as they will expand under heat. And open up a small space that will grow if not torqued down. If not the gasket will quickly deteriorate and will never tighten up. Only 5 bucks for a gasket.
