Just thought I'd whip together this useless post to show off my latest machine. I decided to build up a singlespeed with all the extra bike parts I had laying around, then I decided to take a picture, then I decided to take pictures off all my bikes. I can't wait to hit the trails now. Heres a bunch of my useless bike porn from today...enjoy.

I think I need to get my own place now, my parents are complaining that the garage is all taken up by my bikes, they want me to sell some  crazy eh?

Nice bikes!!! and true about the post, it is a BIG "addiction" ;D ;D

I work in a bike store myself. That's were I get all my $$ and GREAT discounts on all the crap I buy for my bikes. If you don't mind, I'll post up my beast later.

I was thinking about restoring an old roadie bike laying around the house. But, I decided for now, I will stick to trails so I don't kill myself going 30-40 mph :p

thats a decent machine man, I remember many years ago starting out on something similar.

Chris, nice bike (I built a few of those in the shop ;) ). That's kinda what I started on, then I got tired of fixing what I broke from jumps and stuff I shouldn't have bben doing. So I saved up, and got myself a bike that can handle EVERYTHING I hit.

Ok, took the pics after building jumps with Profesional dirt jumpers in NYC. Pretty cool stuff!!!
Here's my time line:
Started on a crapy Toys' R Us bike and taking it to the local trails with my friends. I ended up putting the rear shock threw the mounts, breaking some of the weldings, and bending the goose neck. (

I moved to my Old Red, it's made by "The North Face" (yes, like the clothes company). I got it at Dick's Sporting Goods. It did well for a while, but then I started getting into some different riding.

Right now, this is my project Old School. I got the bike from my grandparents, so it's probly from the 40's. It works great. I just have to repolish all the crome I did last spring

This is the steel roadie I was thinking of rebuilding. I was clocked doing 35 mph with metal to metal brakes (a little scary)

my newest bike that I don't even want to say how much it is worth. It is a Kona Coiler Dee-Lux weighing in at about 45 lbs. Has 6 inches of suspension, front and rear. hydrolic brakes, 8 inch rotor up front. This thing is designed for 10 foot drops, high speeds, and BIG jumps. I have a few plans for it so I can take it Freeriding this summer at some SICK places.

KONA KONA KONA!!! you must be rich cause i know those things have to be around 2-4 grand. i wish i would of saved up to buy a better bike but oh well i don;t need to spend thousands of money that i don't have and then i will want money for something else. but damn that Kona is really nice man

hey yamahabud, you got any action pics???? i have some really crappy ones lol no one around here can take descent pics

these r dumb pics i jump waaaaaay bigger stuff maybe today if i can get a friend to go biking i'll get them to take some pics of some sweet gaps

Thanks guys!! The bike is really great so far, and it is definatley worth saving up for it. I can't wait to go up to the local Freeride Park and give it a run for its money ;D. Here is the nearest place to me incase anyone is board. They hold the US Open every year:

And I'm not rich!! (not even close) Like I said, I work in a bike shop. So the bike usually goes for about $3,000 USD, not including taxes, but I got it for about $1,700 since I have my discount. Yes, it is REDICULOUS how much they mark up stuff in the stores.

I don't have any good action pictures right now. I do have some decent footage from the first few weeks I had the bike though. It is nothing big since I was still getting used to the bike, but I don't think it's too horrible. I'll see if I can post it on some website tomorrow night since youtube and photobucket are a pain in the ass!

Ratch, nice shots! Do you mostly do/prefer the single & double tracks??
And do you race too?

Singletrack is where it is at man! I'm an XC guy for life. As for racing, I do dabble in it a bit, although this year will be my most active racing season in the 8 years that I've been riding. I'll be doing apporx. 6 races this year, 4 of them being 8 hour endurance type events.

Yea Bicycles are a ton of fun. I have a Jamis XC 1.0. Nothing special but it gets the job done. It was so nice out today I went for a 15 mile ride with a friend. Half on trails and Half on road. Not too long but fun.
Heres my bike.
