Ok so heres a second part to a question I asked earlier.. So everybody knows that the stock carrier, and chain adjusters are the weak points on warriors. So I did a little hunting around.. From what I found there isn't a lot of difference between the Banshee, and Warrior swingarms.

Then I found this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-Bans...78344&pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr

Now.. I would have to modify it slightly because my motor mounts to the swinger bolt. But I would like to know for sure if it fits??? They would have to be real close to the same, I think the only difference would be where the linkage mounts?

I have no clue man. I do know that there is a company selling extended warrior swingers for about $200 on ebay. I would THINK that if the linkage mount is what is diff (assuming it's in same place as factory) that the banshee dog bone would work to give you the proper ride height/shock action.

Hey... I never thought of that? You might be onto something there.
But I was under the impression that the warrior, and banshee shock linkages were the same????

And yah you can get warrior extended swingers for $200, but they use the stock carrier.

See, I've heard that the linkage is different.
So I called a local Yamaha dealership about this.. A stock Banshee swinger is 18" inches, so are the gen 2 swingers (of course the 1st gens are an inch longer)
The guy there told me the only real difference is the carrier.. The warrior sprocket, and brake hub (rotor) will interchange as well. But he wasn't sure about the brake caliper?
The dogbone in the linkage is short on a Banshee for better ground clearence. The warrior dogbone is an inch longer. The part of the linkage that comes from the frame, is the same on both models. As well as the axle, it's the same 2.

So a +4 banshee swinger would be +3 on a 1st gen, and using the banshee dogbone will sit the ass end about an inch higher than a warrior one.

That's what I've heard the shee dog bone will do. Sounds like it's worth a shot if you get a good deal on it. +3 prob wouldn't be a bad thing for your bike either.

Well thats what I was thinking.. A couple of spacers wouldn't hurt anything. lol

If I can get that swinger I might just keep the old girl after all?
But then something else will fail. lmao

If their narrower, it's like that all the way down, if you center it, the chain angle will be in and useless. If you center the chain, the shock mount and entire rear end will be shifter left and ride goofy.

Well I emailed the swingarm shop, and asked the same question I asked the guys at Yamaha..
This is what he sent me: "hi, a warrior swingarm has a wider pivot tube plus there is a slight difference in the axle carriers, im not sure if a round carrier banshee swingarm would fit a warrior"
THE SWINGARM SHOP

So I think I'll just wait for something better to come along.. I kinda got my adjusters fixed. I'm gonna cross my fingers, and hope she stays together.

Yeah I know a banshee swinger fits a blaster but idk about a warrior lol
Well the thing about buy'n it for mine, would be the fact I have to cut it up for the rear motor mount.. It's no good to anyone after that.

Buddy at the swingarm shop said he would make me a custom piece for $300 bucks?
