Anybody use a gps when riding?

I got lost once in the desert=no fun.How should I mount it?I just got a Garmin etrex vista

you can buy handler bar mounts for like 20 bucks or cheaper, its worth it with an expensive gps, hold it nice and snug

just get one and put it in your backpack..use it when you need too...

i keep mine in my bag and get it out if i need it .... you only really need it if you get lost , unless you are wanting to use it for a speedo or somethin

yeap, i keep it in my backpack, not worth the batteries or it folling out to put it anywhere else
