Seriously, a friend of mine has a older warrior that he's kept very nicely. It has the crazy billet looking cover on it where the front chain sprocket attaches. It's engraved AMP & has the # 28 engraved in it as well. I'm just wondering if anyone here has it & how exactly does it work?

Those were developed a long time ago. It was supposed to keep your chain in a horizontal plane resulting in better traction and suspension performance. From what ive read you have to be a very aggressive rider to notice any kind of difference. I personally love the way it looks and would like to convince myself i could use one. They can be had on ebay and other sites that have overstock. Its looks like alot of added stress on the sprocket shaft to me though.
