another dumb question (maybe)

Hey guys im still kind of a newbie when its comes to ATV's but i was wondering if i could take wheels and tires off of a 2009/2010 Polaris sportsman and put them on my 2005 Yamaha wolverine.

Pretty much do most atv's have the same wheels, i ask this because whenever i go to look for wheels they never seem to differentiate between lug patterns. I am just trying to see if 25" tires kill the power on my ATV because i will be needing new tires soon and will probably be purchasing wheels when i but the tires

I'm pretty sure Polaris uses a different bolt pattern. A couple will match up between different manufacturers, but most of them are different.

25" is a nice size and won't make much of a difference, but of course you'll lose some power. Probably won't be too noticeable though.
