90 warrior pull start conversion

I purchased this warrior with electrical problems and after rewiring the whole quad everything works except the starter cutoff. I checked the obvious relay problem and the quad does the same with a known good relay. When I hit the start button it cranks but will continue to crank after I release the start button. Anyhow any ideas??? Second do I need to do anything to convert to pull start except add the pull gear??? Thank you in advance for the help.
