Hi,
I found a Yamaha Warrior 1987 on Facebook Marketplace and was wondering if they were rare, and worth more than a normal one?
Thanks

Rare no and they tend to be worth the opposite. There might come a time when they become collectable but right now second gens are worth more. Since they only made the first gens for 2 years and a lot of parts are even 87 only the parts availability can be scarce.

Oh ok thanks. Will all the engine parts be the same, so would a 1997 part work on a 1987 engine etc.?

Engine wise the biggest difference is the stator. The main changes they made on the later models are the electronics and the front suspension geometry
