I have a dual cable mikuni on my 89, and was thinking about swapping out my carb. Seems like a lot of guys are using the 'Zoom Zoom' carbs, and they seem to be decent? Did anyone have to swap out their throttle cables to use them? I'm guessing i could just order a cable from a newer bike to use...

Stock heel guards / pegs / plastic pieces?

Looking for a stock heel guard setup.

Do you have stock heelguards, pegs & the plastic bits from them.

Anyone have any stock heel guards? Complete assemblies, with the plastic and whatever brackets. Mine's an 89 so it never came with stock heel guards. I slipped off the peg and my foot went under the rear tire on my last ride, and now my ankle is fractured. Thanks.

No fine tuning really, you just clock the arm onto the splines into the spot that works and adjust the cable adjuster if its not perfect.

Yeah exactly. There's very little need to get a kit, feeler gauges were ~8 bucks and if you don't have a 10mm wrench by now, you probably have no business working on your own quad.

If you go with LED bars they can run a higher wattage and pull a lot less amperage. The amperage is what will melt wiring and burn up a stator.

It's generally around $1.19-1.25/L where I am in Canada, which is somewhere between $4.50-$5 a gallon. It's always quite a bit cheaper south of the border.

Remove the cage with a 10mm on either side and a 12mm in the middle, remove the light from the cage, and it should be a couple phillips screws on the housing to take the front bezel off and the light will just come right out.
