i'll say i used to do my own gasket matching porting and basic polishing on my car motors al motor a turbo setups is it as basic on these? i woul assume but i dont dive into anything without
research, measure 4 times do it right one time ,,, win every time, lol.
OK,
i have a 2001 wardog that i'm trying to do some basic upgrades.
i have already put in a k&n filter and billet adaptor, FMF full exhaust
i am getting ready to freshen it up i believe its a stock bore and cam
so i was thinking about doing a higher compression piston and possibly a cam...
being that i have the stock motor right now but im either adding a better piston high compression or putting new rings on a stock piston.
i dont want to go crazy on the motor so it's more fun but still reliable. wiesco, JE etc? 10:25 10:50 11:00 etc?
i dont have a bigger carb so i'm limited...
thats what i was thinking, but wanted to be sure.
guess it will be a winter tear down, maybe send the head in to refresh the valve seats etc.
probably stay with sock piston or would it be worth it to upgade
the piston?
warrior has intake and exhaust already, dont know how much more power...
OK,
on the last trip to the dunes we ride pretty hard at night.
but we were riding for almost two hours solid, when we stop you could
smell burning oil, smoking some but not leaking any out.
i just changed the oil prior to trip, new filter and always run YAMALUBE.
anyway, i checked it in...
i have the vids but i'm always. the one with the camera.
yeah the whole rattlesnake thought made us not want to sleep on the ground less dirt on bottom too.
everyone i roll with has yfz 450's or rzr's banshee etc.
in the trails im secind or third in line tearing up the trails
only time...
i wll have to look into a set for my warriors of course i still need to get
a new shifter to , so i can dump that linkage too.
i really do love this site, a couple weeks have been more helpful then
the last couple months of fuddling with i.
