Ahh...sad day...another Wolverine is up for sale...

Tho it pains me terribly to do it, it hurts worse knowing it's just sitting in the garage, and me with no time to ride it. Check out my quad in the showroom (it's gotten new 25" tires since those pics, and looks just as new), and/ or go to ebay and see item #280268784557. Please, give my...

    Keep it clean, stay happy...

A note to some of the younger guys out there: while it may be cool to have a quad covered in mud, dirt, and filth ("WOW, that guy rides HARD!"); you should always try to keep your bike clean. First, anywhere you let mud etc build-up, you're going to retain heat. Heat retention is BAD, especially...

    Dirty Head pipe

Hammer and chisel? I've had success with scotchbrite (green or red) and hot, soapy water. If your case is that extreme, you could always take youe head-pipe off and "wire wheel" or bead blast it. Anywhere you leave mud to build-up, it's going to retain heat...not what you want on an air-cooled...

It ain't fine if it don't shine.....

    Venom 2000 winch

You gotta wonder "how can I go wrong with a winch for $120.00 with postage?" I finally used the bugger, and I must say it ain't terrible. I think it mounts kinda low in the chassis for my taste ("...6 month warranty is VOID if winch is submerged" :? ...are they serious?), and it may have a bit...

    top end clatter

If you think it's loud now, wait till you put in a high(er) performance camshaft! Tic-tic-tic becomes GAK-GAK-GAK...(tho you don't notice as much cause you're trying to hang-on)

    Web Cam

Web cams If you buy a Web cam for a Yamaha, you're also supposed to buy a Web-cams set of hardened rocker arms, as well as their springs...etc. I don't know if this set up is any better than my brand-new, not welded then re-ground Hotcams bit (with stock Yamaha valvetrain), but I do know...

    epi clutch springs

clutch spring upgrade I have seen Barnett "heavy duty" clutch springs for as little as 20.00 for the 350...anyone know if they are the same idea as the Epi kit?

    Hotcams stage I

New valve springs I did not put any "high performance" springs in with the cam. They are not necessary, according to the company (which is part of the reason I didn't go with Web-cams). I did install new Yamaha springs, and so far everything is good. Admittedly, I have only put about 10-15...

    CFM airbox

Wet-vac... Hi, I e-mailed you before about this. Maybe it's just me...I didn't go through anything near as deep as that (and not fast at all), but by the end of the day I ran crappy on the top end, and had a buch of water in the box and carb bowl. I even tried stuffing the area around the box...

    Wolverine Relocated Reverse Lever......

WOW! What a great idea! Did you come up with it yourself, or is it some kind of kit?

    CFM airbox

I tried a CFM airbox along with all my other mods, and I can say that it's a really high quality piece of equipment. It flows way better than stock, and allowed me to run stage two jetting without any sloppiness. It's got a lid that adds some protection from the elements without reducing flow...

    Hotcams stage I

I've seen some doubt as to wether a Hotcams bit is worth using. I put one in my bike with a Wiseco 10.25:1 piston, White Bros. E series pipe, port work, and a Warrior carb. So far, I think it works great. The piston is good for the bottom end, but the top end increase is noticeable! And even tho...

    oil type?

Oil I've always run Honda HP4 in my bikes. Tried other stuff, but that seems to work the best for me.

    Dial-a-Jet...

Anyone try a Dial-a-jet on their bike? Does that thing work? Principle seems sound, but I am hesitant to experiment.
