    89-03

Not sure, but I usually look up the OEM part numbers. If they match, then yes. If not, then I wouldn't bother.

    Warrior won't start

Check for a stretched cam chain. Pull off the cam gear cover. Left side top of head. And the black oversized screw cap on the top of the left side, stator cover. Hand crank the engine till you see a letter "T" in the stator cover hole. Then look and see if the cam gear mark is lined up. That's...

Anyone know where I could get the small spring under the pawl and the brake clip for a pull start? I have the large recoil spring already.

    pilot jet

A stage 1 hotcam is not supposed to sit and idle till after break in procedure. A half hour of mild riding around 3000 rpms. Be careful with that cam until it's broken in. Try to get that jetting correct before you break in that cam. Just saying. I'd hate to hear about someone not happy with the...

    flywheel puller

I have a Fastnel hardware store in town also. You'll have to check with a local hardware store to see if they can order one or search online. If not, then purchase a puller.

    flywheel puller

Sorry. The nut should be on the inside. I'm going to post a pic on Facebook warrior page.

    flywheel puller

A 35 mm X 1.5 spanner nut. Weld it to a piece of pipe. Take a large washer and weld it to the other end of the pipe. Now take a large nut and weld that to the washer. Get a bolt that fits the nut and you'll have one. I made one for 10 bucks. I know it sounds jakey, but I've used mine several...

    Motor identification

Yeah I tried too. The last 6 numbers are like a sequence or production count number. It should be close to the last numbers on the vin. You can only estimate how much newer the engine might be. If it's only a few off it might be an 87. My 96 has an engine id number that's like 15000 or so...

    1989 cdi test

Can I test an 89 cdi on an 87? I guess I should ask if they are compatible.
