Umm it could happen. You have to remember, warrior is air cooled so it does run hot. Going from hot which expands bc of of heat, to cold/cooler water contracting the metal quickly, but then riding and getting it hot which expands might make it crack which I think is what happened to mine ???

I scored the stator cover off ebay for $18 shipped so I am looking forward to that. Got all new bolts and gasket to get the job done right. Hope it is easy to take the original cracked cover off and replace it. Any suggestions though or things to watch out for?

Sucks I cant ride today bc yamaha isnt open and I am stuck w/ it sitting in the garage. I also have a UNI air intake so that might also be why that 152 wont work properly . . . maybe I will try a 147.5

Update: Just ran it and it was def. dark and like had sutt around the plug so im guessing that is rich. I am guessing that based on that instead of having a 152 from stock 145 I should put on a something in between for a main jet and try that right?

Yeh . . . I just cant understand why that main jet wont work properly. Should I just mess w/ that fuel/air bronze screw or . . . I am getting so pissed bc its so nice this weekend and here it sits in my garage. Just wish it would run properly already, so tired of this ****. What color indicates...

Also just read the how to on bluetraxx. How bad is it that I never had a spring in the carb when I took off that float cover? When I took off the carb there wasnt one in there so I thought that was odd bc it was in the how-to?

I am going to try and bid on that on ebay and hopefully win it. I need it bad bc I dont want to rely on jb weld to hold my wheeler together. We'll see how that works vs. buying a brand new stator cover from a dealership which is like $300 . . . . Just wish I knew how this happened . . .

Just put in my 152 main jet and did the turn on that bronze screw 2 complete turns and well she is not running right at all. She fired up fine and seemed ok but in high revs of each gear she wants to like die out on me almost it seems. Any suggestions? I thought I could handle this on my own but...

Just put on a new slip on - HMF performance exhaust. For some reason came with a 160 main jet so we tried it for the hell of it bc my wheeler is running really lean which isnt good at all w/ the original stock jet. Wouldnt even start w/ the jet that came with the HMF. I called HMF and they said...

BAD NEWS not the screw or the gasket. The god damn starter cover has two hairline cracks near the screw. Its enough that when there is pressure the oil comes out. I cant imagine how this happened. I never tightened or messed with that side so just my luck. I am going to try JB Weld or something...

Yeh I see that page and it doesnt look too good. I am gonna try a new bolt and that liquid gasket stuff and hope to god that it stops leaking . . . >:(

I will try it, worth a shot. Hard to tear into I take it? It seems like its just coming from that bolt so I can try to replace it and see how it goes but I did lose quite a bit of oil out of that spot today. I think i put like .25+ Q's in it . . .

Here I hope this pic helps . . . Best I could find online thanks to YamaRider . . . Again it seems/appears that the leak is coming from that bolt. After riding there was oil from the bolt in that grooved area, not exactly along where the casing attaches to the actual motor which is odd right? . . .

Ok washed her up good and rode for about a mile. When i stopped back at my house noticed oil leaking from one of the top bolts on the left side of the casing. Its the main casing that doesnt use an allen wrench like the oil filter and the other outter cover, but the actual bolt. I am not sure...
