My Warn 424 button sticks all the time. Usually when i put it back in 2WD, the button won't pop all the way out and it goes back to 4WD. I have to use some pliers to make it work. Ive taken it apart and cleaned it a million times. It seems like the spring in the knob is worn out. Anybody know a way to fix this?

It isn't a matter of adjustment in the handle is it? I know I have to get mine adjusted a little better, as it seems to be binding once in a while.

Mine was doing the same exact thing. Found that the 2 little detent balls on the plunger were sticking. They are spring loaded & you need to get penetrating oil worked into them. Then assemble with dielectric greese to keep water out & adjust.
