So I use a old beater 89 ranger long bed (7 FT) to haul me Warrior, no problem.

But im sellin it for 600 bucks so i can get another 4x4 ranger.

my question is im looking at a 99 Ranger only thing is its got a short stepside bed.. i really like the style of the short bed with stepside but will there be enough room for my quad?

just guessing, but i'm gonna say the short beds are 6' or so. then having a tool box comes into play.

Well I would just use it for the quad hauling no toolbox so I think 6 foot would be long enough. What about wide nough ?

dunno, measure your 89 and then guess or google the exact dimensions of the 99. i was only guessing that it was at least six foot.

i know my short bed s10 is 6'6" and its comparable to the ranger.

Do you have to lift the front tires over the wheel wells in the truck you have now? If so its not gonna fit in the step side, b/c of the wheel wells being on the outside now.

oh, didn't realize your looking at a step side. not too sure about it fitting in there myself.

in my bros nissan my quad with stock a arms just fits between the wheel wells. if the back tires fit in just load it backwards with the fronts on the tailgate. You can make it fit just might be harder than before

my buddy has an 01 ranger and my quad barley fit in..width and length wise.. but his was not a step side so you might have to roll it over the wheel wells to get it to fit.

It being a stepside it may not fit, a step side the wheel wells are on the out side of the bed, to do this you loose bed space, it will be narrow in the bed, if I was you I would take a measurement to see if it will fit. You need to measure the old regular bed, when the quad fit in it, then measure the stepside to see if it will fit. But more than likely it may not fit.

04 ranger stepside box is 44" my warrior rubbed both side with the rears till i flipped them now it doesnt fit

but i have 12" wide tires
