Tie rod ends

I Broke my front tie rod end and I just got brand new tusk ones. How do i get the broken one out. Havent really look that hard. Can I take the cotter pin and bolt off and tap it through?? :-/

Yes, take the cotter pin out, remove the nut, and take a good size hammer or mallet and knock it out, it takes a little effort and a good hit to get it out.
