My 2001 warrior 400 build, had it bored out all the way to 89mm with a custom sleeve and dome top piston made JE pistons, head has been ported and polished. Heavier valve springs, stage 2 cams, with a custom fabbed air box by me, along with custom intake tube to run a Harley Davidson cv40mm carb, with a custom machine emulsion tube to be able to jet properly with mikuni jets. Has a dmc exhaust, and dg nerf bars

Damn dude that's alot of engineering! It's cool to see people thinking outside the box as it were.
How's the thing ride?

Thanks man! It’s been a lot of work, but it is one mean warrior now and rides great! Definitely blows the stock warrior out of the water, next rebuild it getting a Kodiak connecting rod, and cylinder which will bring it up to 480cc

Kodiak rod and cylinder don't add cc on stock crank. It just makes a long rod motor. To do it you'll either need a 4 mil crank or custom rod.

Kodiak crank does not fit. They use a belt drive system. The clutch side is way off. You either have someone change your stock crank or use a hot rods stroker crank.

I just did a bunch of research on this and came to the conclusion it's not worth the expense for what you can gain. Only 1 option for piston for hot rods crank, or you use some machined concoction for a cylinder/piston that you have to use an adjustable cam gear on.

Nice ride though. Is that a stage 2 hotcam? If so, how do you like it?

I have a 07, factory bore 11:1 wiseco, cheap cam, fcr 37, hmf muffler, drilled lid with k&n, z400 american star front arms, yfz450 front shocks, extended swinger, extended steering stem. Changing it up some this summer.

Yes it does have the stage 2 hot cam, that paired with the 89mm piston, and the Harley 40mm carb with the ported and polished head thing is a beast! Definitely doesn’t feel like a warrior anymore power wise lol
