Was stalking the internet for some winch mount methods and come across this cool idea. I'm not satisfied with mounting a winch so low in the front frame that it eats dirt/mud and freezes. I would like to see an idea engineered to get the winch mounted up higher and yet can be cabled to pull from a lower center of gravity. And then what happens if there is no tree or anchor out in front of you to cable to? How do you backtrack & winch a quad in a 180 degrees at this point? These guys are using there noodle----check them out---www.walkerwheelwinch.com
