Problems with new Zoom Zoom Carb

Hello!

I just picked up a 96 Warrior last week, knowing that it needed a new carb. I ordered a new carb from Zoom Zoom Parts, and got it on yesterday. However, the carb is dumping fuel from the bowl, and the idle is extremely high when it starts. Any ideas? I've emailed Zoom Zoom, but have yet to hear back. I've yet to open the bowl up, as it says it will void the warranty on the carb if I do so. Any help is appreciated.

I was able to adjust the idle and get that resolved, but the carb is still leaking fuel from the bowl. I've tapped the bowl a few times to see if the float is stuck, but I shouldn't have to do this with a brand new carb, correct?

Double check the seal around the float needle.
