woundering if any 1 has tryed it and dose it hold up on trails and going threw trees and crap just dont want to do it and it look like crap the next day lol just an idea

ask gus, he did his and it looks sweet! it should hold up for a couple years. like 4 or 5 if ya really abuse it.

Im assuming ur talking about the exhaust? If so i wrapped my raptor 350s and i didnt like it. Made it run leaner and hotter. Took it off after a week.

I did mine a few months ago. Check this thread for pics...

My brother's has been wrapped for about 2 years and its held up great. Has a few little nicks and cuts in it from smacking trees and stuff, but its not peeling or anything like that. Did mine because my plastics were thrashed, turned out awesome.

My neighbor did his warrior in a carbon fiber look'n vinyl. He wrapped everything, and it only cost him $70. If I wasn't dark I'd go snap a pic of it. It's been threw hell over the last year, and it still looks great. He got the vinyl from 3m innovations.

Dam i wouldnt mind redoing mine in blue carbon

Mine's white carbon fiber with graphics. Was ~$150 but that was with the graphics design, printing, cleaning the plastics and application of the wrap.

Thats why you re jet... it will actually run about 30 degrees cooler after jet it with the exhaust wraped. I know because I experimented with mine, had to up the pilot1 size and main up 2 full sizes

Yea i realize that now lol. I just didnt expect it to make the bike run lean. Not only that but i didnt like the fact that water would saturate the wrap when i washed it. My process was spraying the exhaust with 3 coats high temp paint then wrap pipe and spray 3 coats high temp paint on wrap. Maybe i did something wrong, i just wasnt crazy about it

all you do is take the pipe to bare metal no rust, wrap it and ride it. it will smell like a cross of burnt grilled cheeses, and melted plastic for the first hour and it will smoke out of the wrap till it cures. but after you wash it, you should crank it and let it warm up (or turn the gas off and burn whats in the carb out) then its ready for storage, i hardly ever warmed mine up after washing and when i blew my header on mine i pull the wrap off to check it, and it was perfect bare metal no pitting or rust.
