87 warrior stator wiring wright or wrong year

I have a 87 yamaha warrior tenth digit in the vin is h
I bought it not running so i don't know what was done to it in the past
My question is my wiring harness At the stator has 4 wires (blue green yellow grey)
the stator has 3 wires (blue green yellow) so it looks like the plug on my harness is A and plug on stator is B so i think someone installed the wrong stater.
so i was wondering if any one ever dealt with this or is this factory

so i probable need to chang out the stater with the wright plug and hope then i get spark.
what about the cdi will 87 88 plug in to the same harness and if i change the stator will i have to change the flywheel

sorry that 88 stator 87 harness ... mine is other way around 87 stator 4 wires and harness 88 with 3 ...

could you send me a pic of your 88 then I could wire mine in they just cut the plug off and dont know were to wire them it to what color
