Every once in a while, I smell this electrical fire. It is usually about 15 to 30 mins into the ride. I'm not sure if it is normal or note. The smell is similar to a amplifier burning out. Any ideas? the smell is coming from the front

If i took the spark arrestor out do you all think I may need to rejet? I haven't tried riding with it off yet but I've taken it out to listen to and it sounds nice.

yeah i have the brass and stainless type but i heard the paper material can catch much smaller particles then the brass and stainless. thanx for the info tho

I used amsoil when i made the switch from yamalube to maxum 20w 50 the shifting and clutch were the same. when i switch to amsoil the shifts were smoother and the clutch was also smoother. the change is amazing and i feel more confident with amsoil 10w40

I just bought a twin air oil filter and it is made of brass. The website said the material is paper. My question is are the k&n oil filter made of paper? and what other brands of oil filter have paper media?

I jsut recenlty switched from maxum 20w-50 blend to amsoil synthetic 10w-40. after i started riding it today it seemd to shift smoother but the clutch seem to grab softer as if it was slipping a little. i only got to ride it for about 15 mins so i really didn't have the chance to check if it was...

how often does every body change their oil? Should i just go by the maintance schedule in the manuel or do it more frequently. Because it says every 160 hrs or 6mnths

really wow that sux... but for the guy who bought his 700 for $6100 that is one HELL of a deal i think it would of been cheaper for me to drive to where you live and pay that for a 700, rather than paying the same amout for the 350. down here they would of pinned a 8500 OTD price for a 700 SE
