The wrong kind of oil would make it slip oposed to grabing harder, if it has regular automobile oil in it the fristion modifiers in the oil will make the wet clutch slip. But yeah even when mines in gear it stays put unless I'm givin it throttle, I would jus try decreasing the clutch using that...

No that's not normal at all, mine sits like a car in nuetral with no throttle and the idle doesn't really change when I put it in gear.

You could try adjusting the clutch screw up above the shifter

Those are ITP Mud Lites, 25x8x12 fronts and 25x10x12 rears, the rears in that pic were about shot n the fronts were so so, I don't have em on there anymore, they were on it when I bought it. I believe those were the AT's which if u get the XL's you'll get 1 1/8in of tread instead of like 3/4in...

Check the slide diaphragm in your carb for any tears or holes, if u can't see any noticiable ones hold it up to a light n you'd be able to see any holes if there are any!

If u read the original post, he's not jus dealing with some noise, he's havin trouble gettin it started and I don't kno any factory that would let a quad leave doin that!!!

Id be interested in the uni filter if its clamp on style n Pat doesn't need or want it, was gonna wait till my k&n filter wore out to switch but the sealing gasket has a huge chunk missing which I filled with rtv but would rather go clamp on with the cheaper plastic adapter n a uni filter
