    It sounds like it's coming strait from the engine compartment. I don't know how to explain it :( I'm sure that doesn't help but the rattle matches the speed of the engine.     slight engine rattle

    I just noticed a slight rattle coming from my engine when i had the bike idling. The rattle gets a little louder and faster with throttle. Also does it in gear. Is this normal. Thanks guys!!

    Hello from West Texas!

    Update: Everything works just fine now so it was a bad battery. I was in for a rude awakening when I opened up the new battery and found out I had to put in all the liquid stuff myself, and then let it sit for an hour before I charged it. But I made it out alive and everything works...
