    ok i have a 2001 wolvy 350 and ive read several articles about carb problems and keep seeing the subject of "adjusting float level" but i havent been able to find anything telling me how to adjust the level of it or how to tell if its too high or too low.....how do i adjust the float level or...

    spark plug black and wet

    hey my spark plug is black and damp looking and idles rough....do i need to turn the fuel mixture screw in or out(oh its only screwed out half a turn rite now)....or would a smaller pilot jet be the better fix

    Running too rich!!!!

    thanx ya'll im gotta carb rebuild kit comin ups today so im hopin i'll be able to get it set just rite plus im going from 1.5" to 2 1/4" pipe on the snorkel so it should get a lil more air that way too

    i put in a dynojet jet kit hoping to get more on the ground power and it worked but now i gotta get it leaned out so itll quit fouling plugs...the instructions also said to drill out the lift hole in the slide and i originally just changed out the main jet but it was running too lean then so...

    Recently put a bigger main jet and a bigger pilot jet but no matter where i set the air/fuel mixture at its still way too rich the needle is adjustable but not sure whether or not i need to move the clip up or down....which way would i need to go with it to lean it out some?...also it seems to...

    parts?

    Ive gotta 2001 wolvy 350 4x4 and im just trying to get ya'lls input on whats the best source for parts on the internet for things such as lifts, clutch kits, carb kits and pretty much anything performance wise......rite now i'm having difficulty finding a lift kit for it and im needing one...

    Nahh i havent cleaned it recently but i do run carb cleaner fuel treatment in every tank of gas that i run thru it just seems to be a cheap preventative measure i take cause i ride prolly 3-4 times a week and at least 6-8 hours a week....i love my wolvy but wish it had more low end torque since...

    Ohh and what its doing is at idle speed in neutral it kinda popos or burps if that makes any sense to you its very suddle but has died b4 when it does it....also snorkeled but did it b4 i snorkeled it also

    Snorkeling exhaust?

    What i meant by snorkeling the exxhaust is extending it out and up to the height of my airbox snorkel....which i just uploaded pics of to my albums only cost 20$

    Snorkeling exhaust?

    Okay i just finished snorkeling the airbox on my wolvy and will be posting pics and parts list for those of you who may be intersted in doing the same to yours...its very easy and its cost less than 25$ to do it...but my question now is...is it practical to snorkel the exhaust pipe and if so...
