Well, I just ordered a 3000lb Xtreme winch from E-bay. $137.98 shipped. I figuered for the price, it can only be soo bad. The guy does have 100% feedback, and comes with a 6 month warranty, so we'll see.

If you're grinding on the pipe, then its gonna be pretty hard to get shavings in the motor.

You may not be looking into it, but I've seen several running big bear first gears.

i've always had good success with a 1/4" grinder with a wire wheel attachment. Again---its only a temp fix

Anyone on here done them? Any tips/tricks/etc to get the job done? I ordered two halfshafts off of ebay, I'm pretty sure that the left front CV is popping on me(with the steering fully locked) --I know that the boot is torn. I'm gonna do wheel bearings and new brake pads while I'm at it...

I'm pretty sure that was what the machine shop said. I know the final thing is supposed to be 84.00 mm I think.

I am currently finishing the rebuild process on mine. I choose Wiseco 10.25.1 piston .60 over, hotcams kit, and a new clutch. I'm hoping that she'll run nicely. I also rebuilt the HMF pipe(new stuffing) and have the carb jetted with 155 mains.(Dynojet kit)

Do you have any pics by chance?? And you are talking about the exhaust pipe correct?

I've got a HMF pipe on mine, and I must say that its pretty loud. Not quit as loud as the FMF megamax that was on my warrior, but still loud. Nice power increase tho
